I am from Buffalo, New York in the United States. I came to Hong Kong 2 years ago and immediately began teaching English as a second language. I have a unique appreciation for the English language with a particular attention to detail, especially in writing. I welcome the challenges and obstacles each child faces in their English speaking and help them to improve and defeat those challenges. Most importantly, I love working with children. There is a special innocence and wisdom in children and I feel that I learn as much from them as they do from me. I attended the State University of New York in Buffalo, focusing my studies on English and Psychology.  In my spare time, I am a musician and songwriter and I also teach private guitar lessons.  I aspire to expand my writing into short stories and possibly, one day, my own novel.
